I watch the water arise,
You can see it in my eyes.
Washing up against the sand,
Right onto our own land.
I can hear the children's laughter,
It's their happily ever after.
Wearing the necklace made with a heart of gold,
It will give them something to hold.
I take a gaze at the perfect parents,
Just imagine if they were on heart shaped terrace.
Two people who are meant for each other,
Have finally found one another.
I walk away from the perfect family,
To try to find my one and only.
So my heart will have a beginning,
And therefore it must have a happy ending.
