Here we all stand today,
on the mountain top of the world,
to gaze upon God’s beloved daughter.
As we say goodbye to her body,
her soul begins its long journey
towards the heavens,
into the skies of immortality.
We remember how she lived,
who she was,
what she stood for.
Death stares at us all;
he sometimes chooses to take
those whom we care about the most
when they are not ready.
No one deserves this fate,
but God...
has a purpose for us all.
We may question this purpose
and may never get an answer.
But, to believe that someday we will find it,
brings us a glimmer of hope
in this dark
and cruel world.
Let this girl’s death be not in vain.
Let your existence be not in vain.
If in times of trial and oppression
you find yourself questioning your purpose,
remember of this girl.
Remember that you will in time
be faced with your destiny.
We now let her go,
to let her begin her journey
to a new beginning.
Life with every breath.
