No turning back,
To face what we must face,
It is the future we dread,
We must only have our last taste

We know tomorrow will never come,
So for now we must not let ourselves go,
To pray, not give up hope,
Give our gods all we may show

Hereafter, there is nothing,
But to blank , we must stand,
United our country is Japan,
Unitied our children, we dear, hold hands

If they will not help us,
We will but help ourselves,
To stop the foreboding terror,
And to place love on our shelves

To stand and watch their tears,
And them to watch mine,
This is the last or the first,
For us to share our time

Time together,
Fighting a battle but never to be won,
To lead a war
That has just begun
