A nine man group there was of old
Set out to morder they were told
One of them was old and wise
Four of them, small to our eyes
Along with 2 men, one a king
The other who desires the ring
An elven prince with a kind hearted soul
And a spirited dwarf, out of his hole
One by one they gave their oaths
And set out for the evil land
A time will come when they will part
But will be together in their heats
Yet hope remains when all is lost
Succeeding will have a pricy cost
One of then will lose their life
Then the quest will stand
On the edge of a knife
