Hanni In A Elevator

It was one typical day,
When Hanni was at the mall,
She finished her shopping,
So she walked down a long hall.
At its end, an elevator,
That would take her home,
She stepped inside with caution,
And the back of the door was shown.
She travelled up with speed,
Not thinking where she would come out,
Suddenly she stopped,
and Hanni looked about.
Suddenly it hit her,
There was no way out,
The elevator was stuck,
Hanni began to pout.
As tears streamed down her face,
Her pink dress was getting wet,
Whatever was she going to do?
The elevator was set.
Time passed slowly,
No one knew she was there,
All Hanni had was ,
A pineapple and a chair.
It’s the year 2352,
When someone fixed the lift,
Only to find a granny,
What a wonderful gift!
“Thank you, sonny.”
Hanni said with a cracked smile,
The boy couldn’t speak,
Atleast, not for a while.
But by the time he could speak,
Hanni was long gone,
Who would believe his story?
He walked away with a yawn.
