It pours down on me, it pours down on you
It pours down on every one which makes me feel blue.
It pours down on granny,it belts down on dad
and it soaks mum right through witch makes her mad!
It makes my lunch all soggy, when I go to school
I get all wet,and that's not cool!
But we all need the rain,it's true!
Even if it pours down on me and on you.
you know it has an awfully big job to do!
the flowers, the grass and the big tall trees
the rain,you know,helps all of these!
The brightest flowers, the greenest grass,after rain, become oh,so vast.
It's simple,
we all need rain,
to have any thing to gain.
so maybe next time when it's raining outside,
you'll look up at the clouds and feel a bit of pride!
