Jennette hang onto her book tightly while in the playground, people knew how much she protected it, but that just made them want it more.

A group of boys pushed past her, making her drop her book. The second she got up to grab it, it was gone. One of the boys had stolen it! Jennette took a few deep breaths, then started the waterworks. She sucked it up and went over to the teacher, and told on them. (Great move Jennette, teacher).

The teacher needed Jennette to tell her who the boys were, but Jennette didn't have enough time to see their faces...

Jennette was never going to get her book back and she knew it. She had had this problem before.
