I watched them walk past every day, wondering when life would be over, forgetting how it all started. As I smoked the last butt of marijuana, I regretted every moment. Waiting on the side for one to help me, but no, I am left out. However there is one certain person who knows me more than I probably know myself. Every day I see her walk past me, doing some thing different each day. I waited for her to come with her mother as always 9:00am. “Hi Bella, how are you feeling today? I'm going to dance class you want to come?” she said. “I'm not a good person, no I shouldn't” I replied. “Well you love to dance, if you change your mind I'm next door”, she answered, catching up to her mother. She was right I love to dance, so I decided to give it a try. I remember the room, how I and my mother would come here before I got addicted. I watched the girl dance than left, to go back to the streets where some one had stolen my old rough blanket. No I would never survive, I thought. The girl saw me and asked “you want to join me and my family?” I kindly replied “yes”. The last time I remember being in a car was in a 1976 model. But to see this new technology I was shocked, they had an iPhone or what ever it was. I missed so much since I was 16, I don’t even remember anything. The girl offered me to stay but no I had to go. After two weeks straight I stopped taking marijuana not just because the police where tracking me down but also because the girl taught me how to behave. I wanted find my family and be good so I set out. Asking people about them, no one knew who they were. The following day, I saw the girl I told her, about my goal and she said “no need to keep searching”. I was confused but then she said “we are family”.
