Poem- Red
Blood is red,
And my life is grey,
My happiness is fading…fading away,
I was the girl who was once loved,
But now I just see black where I am hidden,
In the dark.
And all my options lead to regret,
The shame, the redness of my heart,
It all tuned to black and made my brain give threat,
My life is only starting but my freedom is an end,
I ask… I just ask for a person to forgive,
One day ‘The Red’ will drip so much,
That I won’t need to worry…no I won’t need to worry,
Because the beat of my heart,
Will end.
But if I stop,
And someone’s there for me,
Maybe I won’t need the angles to take me,
I know I know this sounds so emotional,
But really all I need is a true loving pal,
One who will stay,
One who will forgive,
The one that can make my life finally begin.
